This post makes me laugh every year because it is filled with the photos that I don’t deliver to the our wedding couples – and you will soon see why! These are the moments of veil tosses, getting in each other’s shots, and testing lighting.
While I am putting together this post, I also always realize that we basically have wedding day uniforms. We wear the same things to SO MANY WEDDINGS! Haha! Thank goodness we don’t see the same people! When you find an outfit that works, you kind of just keep wearing it. I definitely had a favorite maternity shirt this season; in fact, I loved it so much I bought two in blue and one in pink!
It is also so funny to look back at my, um, expanding size this season. (Maybe “funny” isn’t the right word?). I thought I looked so pregnant during the summer, and now at more than 40 weeks pregnant (!!) I look back and think “I looked so great!” I’ve taken very few photos of myself during this pregnancy, so it actually is nice to see the transformation over the last (almost) ten months.
And it is always so fun to remember all of our great weddings this year. Kelsey, Justin, and I LOVE weddings. They are such happy, fun, beautiful days, and we have such a good time at every single wedding. At so many weddings, guests will come up and ask us if we are friends with the couple because we seem so happy to be there :) We really love celebrating weddings. There is no greater or happier day for a couple, and it is such an honor to be included.
Enjoy some of our ridiculous, awkward, silly, and fun moments from the past wedding season – starting with my absolute favorites – the veil toss!
Kelsey is a PRO at veil tosses! (Which I call “the bouquet toss” literally 50% of the time… I don’t know why!).
But I didn’t just have Kelsey and Justin as veil toss assistants this year! Kate’s awesome sister did the honors during Kate and Rob’s wedding, and this photo is too funny not to share!
These crack me up too much not to share :) Is it just me, or does it look like Kelsey is sneaking up on our couples each time? Haha!
Shaun and Nick’s amazing triplets were SO over photos at this point. Thankfully, Shaun, Kelsey, and Shaun’s mom were all ready to assist – because we needed three assistants to help remove pacifiers on the count of three! :)

I was pregnant for all but one wedding this year, so Kelsey and Justin definitely ended up carrying a LOT of gear on my behalf! They lugged the box, bags, light stands, and even, for a sunrise shoot, my tea! :)

Kelsey, Justin, and I had such a wonderful year, and it is fun to see these accidental behind the scenes shots every year! I can’t wait for all of the fun weddings with my favorite team next year!
