Adoptable Cats and Dogs – FARM

Brooke Tyson Photography
I stopped by Feed Plus in Fallston, MD yesterday to photograph some of the adoptable cats and dogs that have been saved from shelters or other bad situations by Fallston Animal Rescue Movement.  Learn more about these adoptable animals and many others on their PetFinder page.
This little Chihuahua-Dachshund mix was hit by a car before a good samaritan found her and contacted FARM.  She has had one surgery already, but will need a second.  She is a sweet (and super cute) pup.
He was the king of the store – he sat on the highest box and watched everything.

This girl was so sweet and VERY talkative.  She likes to sleep in the nooks between the stacked bags of food, and she is pretty well concealed – except for her meow!

The pretty girl was so friendly and followed me all over the store.

This was my favorite cat.  She is a very young girl who was saved from a hoarding situation that was discovered when the home caught fire, killing many of the animals trapped inside.  She is a polydactyl, which means she has two extra toes on both of her front feet!  On top of that, she is an orange female, which is very rare genetically.

Casper stayed on the shelves the entire time I was there, but he followed me from the front of the store to the back, and the back again.  He is a really friendly guy.

Two matching pups (Bichons, I think).

This little girl Chihuahua went to a foster home yesterday.  She was too sweet!

Sweet little senior!

How cute are those crossed paws?

This shy little one also went home yesterday.  Yay!
