In July, I photographed Ashley and Tom’s engagement session in downtown Baltimore. It was such a lovely day, and we had so much fun plus we had the most beautiful light! We were so lucky to have that same beautiful light on their wedding day in downtown Annapolis, MD.
Ashley’s main goal was to have a beautiful wedding day without all of the stress; she wanted her ceremony and reception to be small, intimate, and easy to manage – and she accomplished those goals! After their wedding ceremony, Ashley and Tom’s guests explored downtown Annapolis (and stopped in at a nearby pub!) while Ashley, Tom, and I had a fun portrait session around the capital (get ready: this post has a LOT of portraits – I have too many favorites!). Then everyone met back up for dinner at Osteria 77. The decor was STUNNING – the flowers, votives, and mercury glass perfectly complemented Ashley’s soft, romantic wedding gown – and were a perfect match to the beautiful wedding bouquet that Tom chose for Ashley as a surprise! (So sweet!).
Ashley and Tom are such a sweet, loving couple, and it was such a joy to photograph their beautiful wedding day! I was also so thankful to the talented (and oh-so-sweet) Cavin of Cavin Elizabeth Photography for her assistance throughout the day (and help navigating the trolley system – I am pretty certain I would still be riding that trolley around Annapolis if she wasn’t there to help us find our way back to the hotel! haha).
