I met Carolyn and Ryan in Fell’s Point for their engagement photos because the two wanted to do pictures somewhere special to them (which I love!!). We actually took engagement photos right where Carolyn and Ryan met a few years ago during a snow storm! Isn’t that so sweet? Unfortunately on the day of our shoot we also had a storm heading in – a huge thunderstorm! It had been a beautiful, sunny day, but dark clouds rolled in an hour before our shoot – along with LOTS of humidity. But Carolyn and Ryan didn’t let the gray skies affect their moods at all! They were so positive, upbeat, and SO fun to be around.
I am not very familiar with Baltimore (even though I have lived 25 minutes from Baltimore my entire life!), so it was really nice to have Carolyn and Ryan show me some of their favorite sports in Fell’s Point. I especially fell in love with the beautiful colorful houses!! It was really close to sunset at that point on an already very cloudy, grey day AND we were under tree cover, but those bright houses were too good to pass up – and I LOVE how they look with Carolyn and Ryan’s outfits!! After that we went to Canton and I got to meet Carolyn and Ryan’s ADORABLE dog, Elvis!! (I can assure you that I was more excited to meet him than he was to meet me!). Carolyn gave me a treat to give him, though, and after that he didn’t mind me too much. We walked around Canton as the sun set and go some shots of Carolyn and Ryan with Elvis (and he wore a jersey! Too cute!).
I had so much fun photographing Carolyn and Ryan! These two are so fun and welcoming; I felt like they were friends I had known my entire life by the end of the shoot. Enjoy their beautiful engagement photos, and in November, you’ll get to see these two again – plus Elvis! :)

We were walking back to the cars to head over to Canton and I just couldn’t pass up this pretty gate with roses!
Then we headed to Canton to pick up Elvis and do an outfit change (and I got to photograph Carolyn’s gorgeous ring!).
Gorgeous!! And I got to see a sneak preview of the wedding band too – I can’t wait to photograph all three in November!
