Julie and Brian were married on a BEAUTIFUL sunny Saturday in May! It was truly a perfect day!
Julie and Brian were married in a lovely church near their home, and then they celebrated at the Grand Masonic Lodge in Hunt Valley. I had never photographed at the Grand Masonic Lodge before, but it is a gorgeous venue and in such a lovely location.
Julie and Brian met at work when they were younger, and have been together ever since :) I met Julie through Ashley, who just got married in the fall in Annapolis! Ashley was a bridesmaid in Julie’s wedding, so it was so awesome that I had the opportunity to photograph both of their special days!
Even though it was May, surpringly, the cherry blossoms were still blooming! Kelsey and I couldn’t believe it when we drove up to Julie’s house early to scope around for photo locations; even though I only live about 40 minutes away, the cherry blossoms were gone where I live – but just a few doors down from Julie’s house was a beautiful blooming cherry blossom! We were so lucky that the cherry blossoms bloomed late this year, because Kelsey and I got some of the most incredible cherry blossom pictures! (Seriously… the cherry blossom bridesmaid pictures are SO beautiful!! Their pink chiffon dresses and beautiful pink bouquets paired so well with the pink cherry blossoms – it was incredible!).
It was truly a beautiful day, and such a fun wedding. It is clear from the reception pictures that everyone had a blast dancing to the live band (they were amazing!!) and celebrating with Julie and Brian! Enjoy some of my favorites from Julie and Brian’s gorgeous day!
