Larra and Alex have the most wonderful story; the two met and dated in high school. Soon after graduating, Alex proposed, but the two decided not to get married because they were so young. Fast forward to now, and Alex proposed again with the same ring he gave Larra when they were in their teens – and she said yes! These two are truly meant to be, and their love was undeniable. This was truly a wedding full of smiles, and a beautiful, sunny day at the lovely Gramercy Mansion.
I was so excited for this wedding because it is actually the first time I have ever second shot a wedding! I have been photographing weddings for three years, but I have never worked as a second shooter, so it was a really fun experience. Plus, I got to work with my friend Teri of TPoz Photography, which is always a blast :) Teri told me that Larra and Alex love cats and dogs as much as I do, so TPoz – who is very well-known for her love of dogs – and I were the perfect team for their wedding!
