I am so happy to share Tori and Dylan’s gorgeous Dulany’s Overlook wedding!
Tori and Dylan were married on Sunday, September 3, 2022 at Dulany’s Overlook in Frederick, Maryland.
Tori and Dylan met while studying for their doctorate degrees in physical therapy. Initially, Tori did not want to date someone who was in her physical therapy program. But Dylan soon convinced her to change her mind – and these two have been together ever since!
Tori and Dylan began the day by getting ready and celebrating with their amazing (and huge!) wedding party. Tori had 10 bridesmaids and Dylan had 14 groomsmen! These two clearly have a lot of love and support from their family and friends – and they have an amazing community around them! Dylan and his groomsmen played cornhole on the lawn while Tori and her bridal party got ready upstairs. And after everyone was ready, it was first look time!
Tori and Dylan shared a first look outside of Dulany’s Overlook. It was such a sweet moment!! And then we did bride and groom photos, wedding party, and family portraits – all in time for Tori and Dylan’s wedding ceremony!
Tori and Dylan’s wedding ceremony was in the lawn overlooking rolling hills alongside Dulany’s Overlook. The view was stunning!
Their friend, Luke, officiated the ceremony. He spoke about Tori and Dylan’s dedication to their academics and long hours studying during school, their dedication to their careers, including Dylan’s physical therapy company, Spartan Physical Therapy, and their dedication to one another. Dylan’s sister and Tori’s sister each shared a reading, and then Tori and Dylan said “I do”!
After their ceremony, we finished up extended family portraits quickly, and then Tori and Dylan joined their guests for cocktail hour! We’ve had so many couples this year do a first look, all couples and wedding party photos, and all or most family portraits before their ceremony. It is amazing!! It makes the day so much less stressful for the couple because once their ceremony starts, they get to enjoy every part of their wedding. I love this trend!!
After the cocktail hour, Tori and Dylan’s wedding reception began! Dulany’s Overlook is such a gorgeous venue (it is one of my absolute favorites!). The barn is so pretty and has an amazing view – and Tori and Dylan’s reception decor was so beautiful. They decorated the farmhouse tables with chiffon, candles, and florals. The tall ceilings and wide wood beams were accented with chiffon and the entire space was so bright and airy.
During the welcome speech from Tori’s mother and father, her father joked that Tori and Dylan’s wedding had more medical professionals than any other event – so in case anyone had a medical emergency, they were totally covered. And, coincidentally, one of Tori’s bridesmaids went into labor soon after the ceremony!
Something special that Tori’s family does is sing grace before dinner. So Tori’s family sang grace for everyone before dinner – led by Tori’s cousin. It was so sweet and such a special way to share a family tradition!
Just after dinner, we stepped outside for quick sunset portraits. It was GORGEOUS!! Dulany’s Overlook is such a beautiful venue and the view in the evening is stunning. This is always my favorite time with a couple, too, because they are just so relaxed and having so much fun – although Tori and Dylan were relaxed and having fun ALL day! These two
Toward the end of the night, guests were treated to the most adorable late night snacks: mini chocolate and vanilla milkshakes, funnel cakes, and fries. It was such a fun way to end the night!!
Tori and Dylan, you two are such a joy to be around. Your positive energy and love for each other is incredible, and we are so, so happy for you two!! Congratulations on your marriage and enjoy your incredible honeymoon in Hawaii!!
