It was so fun to celebrate Will’s first birthday with Will, and his parents, Christine and Shawn!
Baby Will turned one year old on August 29, 2021. Will’s parents planned the cutest “The Big One” themed cake smash that matched Will’s fishing themed first birthday party.
It is such an honor to get to celebrate these big moments with families – and it is so fun when I have known them for so long! I photographed Christine and Shawn’s engagement session in Spring 2018 and their wedding in Fall 2018. Then, soon after Will was born, I photographed Christine, Shawn, and Will for the first time as a family of three last Winter 2020! I was so excited when Christine emailed me to start planning Will’s first birthday cake smash – and it was so fun celebrating with these three!
Will LOVED his cake and literally jumped right in – eating the absolutely adorable cake as soon as it was placed in front of him! He had so much fun playing with the cake and his cake smash was so, so cute (I loved the fishing net and fishing decor! So cute!). Will has been very well photographed this year thanks to his mama (his monthly photos are SO CUTE!) and I am so excited to see what year two holds :)
