Alby and Josh are the sweetest couple. After many years together, these two celebrated their marriage at Overhills Mansion on a GORGEOUS (and very hot!) July afternoon – and then had the most fun celebration all evening!! They got ready in separate hotel rooms with their wedding parties, and they were both SO excited to see each other for the first time on their wedding day! They had their first look outside before jumping on the shuttle bus and heading to Overhills Mansion – and it was such a touching first look. I think everyone was tearing up! Once we got to Overhills Mansion, we did the wedding party portraits (and it was HOT – this group was awesome even in the incredible heat!) and then it was time for the ceremony! It was such a beautiful ceremony, with readings by close friends (including Ashley from Lemon and Lime Event Design!!), and then just as the sun was setting (and it was finally cooling down outside – yay!) Alby and Josh did their wedding portraits – and they were AMAZING!
Alby and Josh told me that they really wanted their wedding to be a fun celebration. These two have been guests at a lot of weddings in the last few years, and they loved the weddings where everyone just had fun – so they made sure their wedding was just that! The dance floor was packed, the energy was high, and the DJ, Kyle, from Mixing Maryland, was outstanding.
It was such a joy for Kelsey and I to be there to photograph their special day. These two are truly such great people, and their wedding was so much fun. Enjoy some of my favorites from Alby and Josh’s wedding!
