I am SO excited for Avery and Mike’s wedding next year!! These two met in college and have been together ever since – and then earlier this year, Mike proposed! I loved hearing Avery and Mike’s proposal story; Mike planned such a sweet date at Meridian Hill Park – where he surprised Avery with a BEAUTIFUL ring and asked her to marry him! Of course, Avery said yes! In celebration, these two decided to try out the scooters in DC – and unfortunately, that didn’t go as well; luckily everyone was ok following the scooter crash, and it makes for a great memory now! :)
And now, Avery and Mike are planning their wedding for next year! These two will be getting married next spring at the beautiful Mansion at Valley Country Club.
I first met Avery many years ago in 2012 – my very first year as a photographer – when I photographed her and her family! My father has been friends with Avery’s parents, Tammy and Peter, for many years, sp I was SO excited with Avery and Tammy emailed me to let me know that Avery was engaged and exploring venues for her 2020 wedding – and my family was so thrilled to hear Avery’s exciting news! Avery and Mike chose the Mansion at Valley Country Club, which is a perfect location because it is just about halfway between Avery’s family and Mike’s family – plus it is such a beautiful place!
