I am so excited to share this session!! One of my best and longest friends, Meredith, has wanted a dog for many years. Meredith and I have been taking my dogs for walks together for a long time, and my Cara and Emily always loved seeing Meredith (and Finn and Cooper, the grouchiest little dogs, have grown to love her!). So when Meredith started talking about a rescue called Wings of Love Kuwait – which brings rescued homeless dogs from Kuwait to Baltimore, MD, to help them find new homes – I was so excited for her! Meredith fell in love with a sweet little three-legged pup named Chancey. Poor Chance is missing a front leg and his skin is full of BB pellets, but Chance has such an incredible heart and spirit. And Meredith has helped him grow so much. Chance has become so brave, and he has learned so much already!
Chance also has a best friend… my goofy rescue dog, Hailey! Hailey is scared of just about everything in the world (seriously!), and like Chance, she has BB pellets under her skin. Perhaps it is the rough start these two had, but they have bonded like no other dogs – they love each other so much! When Hailey sees Chance, she gets more excited than she does about anything else – by far! And when Chance comes to my house, he knows it is playtime – so any sort of delay, like, well, photos in the front yard, is definitely only briefly tolerated! :) I’m glad we had a chance to get these beautiful pictures on a sunny, gorgeous afternoon with Chance and Meredith in my front yard.
