I am so excited to share this senior portrait session!! A few weeks ago, Isabelle and I met up at Schooley Mill Park so that I could photograph her senior portraits. Ah! I have known Isabelle for a LONG time – almost her entire life! Isabelle and I grew up next door to each other, so we have so many memories together. Isabelle, Isabelle’s sister, Catherine, Kelsey, and I had tea parties, spa days, cooked a few very odd meals, played with foster kittens and dogs, and even went to my grandparents’ house years ago to pick strawberries and sew purses! My dad is a contractor, and my parents built a home next door to Isabelle’s house in 2001 (so long ago!), and Isabelle and her family have truly been the absolute best neighbors anyone could ever ask for. We have been so lucky to have them as neighbors and friends; this family means so much to us. They are such wonderful people (and the whole family has such a good sense of humor; they are just the sort of people you want to be around!). And Isabelle and Catherine are such kind people; these two sisters are so sweet. They are such genuine, thoughtful people. Their personalities remind me SO much of Kelsey and I too! I feel so fortunate and lucky to have this family in my life.
I only live about five minutes away now (and I am always at my parents’ house visiting with my dogs), but we don’t get to see Isabelle and Catherine as much now that they are grown up. Catherine is in college in New York, and Isabelle just finished her senior year at Atholton High School and will be heading off to Brown University!! Not only are these two sisters so incredibly sweet but they are both SO smart and talented! Isabelle is considering studying medicine like her father did, but she is excited to explore majors when she begins college. And before that, she has a trip to the Philippines coming up this summer! 2017 is such a big year!!
Congratulations, Isabelle!! You have so many incredible experiences ahead of you! I am so proud of you and love you so much!!
This is one of my favorites! You have such a great smile, Isabelle!
The day we chose for portraits was supposed to be beautiful and sunny, but as I was walking out the door to drive to Schooley Mill Park, it started to pour! Luckily it stopped raining as I drove, but we still had some dark clouds. Then, toward the end of our session, a rainbow appeared! It was so beautiful! In one spot, we could see the entire curve of the rainbow; it was so incredible!
I love this one!
Isabelle’s sister, Catherine, had her violin in her senior portraits a few years ago, so Isabelle brought this small ukulele from Hawaii! :)
I love both of these, but the one with the flowers is one of my favorites!
The sun finally came out right before the rainbow appeared!
This picture at the fence was our last stop, and literally right after we got in our cars at the end of the session the sky opened up and there was some pretty scary lightening!
Congratulations, Isabelle!! I can’t wait to hear about college!!
