This is always my favorite blog post each year because it is so much fun looking back over the wonderful weddings that Kelsey, Justin, and I got to photograph! It is such a huge honor to celebrate with all of these wonderful couples; we absolutely love getting to know our couples, and we love being there for these incredible moments. This was such a fun year, with weddings in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, and so many amazing couples. I have so much trouble with this blog post because I want to narrow it down to just a few photos from each wedding and it is so tough because I have so many favorites!! It is so hard! I really love including a variety of wonderful moments, too, like the completely unplanned candid ones, the sentimental ones that may not be the best technically, and also the beautifully posed ones. I look back at the year, and I love the memories that come with each picture – each one is so special, and I feel such a strong connection to each day. I also look back at these pictures and I am in awe of how beautiful they are. I LOVE photography, and being able to have the opportunity to work with such amazing couples to create these pictures is incredible. As I start my eighth year as a wedding photographer, I am reminded of just how lucky I am to be able to do this.
This year was so, so much fun. I say this every year, but I genuinely feel like I work with the kindest people. I love the friendships I form with my couples, and it is so special to share in these wedding days. These are some of the most incredible moments, and it is an honor for Kelsey, Justin, and I to be invited to share in this joy. And since I was pregnant for all but one wedding this season, I was even more emotional! I teared up at literally every parent dance this year!
